Here is my take on the sketch challenge over at SFS. Check out the challenges here
I have also scrapped a couple more layouts for the BPC class The Art + Science of Scrapbooking. This time the focus was on photos.
This challenge was to use a photo collage. I also used some Mambi cards I purchased from SFS a while ago and an old kit from Scrapbook Savvy.
The second challenge was to choose a photo and find another and scrap the connection. It involved working out dates but I changed it a bit and came up with this.
Thanks for stopping by xx
I signed up for The Art and Science of Scrapbooking over at Big Picture classes. After seeing the first videos and challenges, I was finally inspired to scrap again. The pages are simple but they are done and the stories are told!
The first two were based on ideation
The next two were based on Process
I have a couple more layouts on the go so will back in a few days with more.
Thanks for stopping by.
We are almost at the end of our school holidays! John was away for a couple of days so I managed to squeeze in some scrapping. I joined in the cyber crop over at Scrapbook Savvy
and managed to get all the challenges done. Here are my layouts for the crop.
The first one was for Sara's Blind Scrap.
Chloe's colour challenge was to use blue, green and kraft. I used the EP Here and Now papers and sticker elements from Scrapbooking From Scratch.
I also based this page on a sketch by Lisa Hidy
which I found on Pinterest.
Karen's challenge was to use doodling, chipboard and the word WILD. I got this one done really late last night :) I used another Lisa Hidy
Sar's challenge was to use a song title, a misted background, something handmade and glitter or glitter glue. I used a flower from Charm's Creations
, Pink's song "True Love" as my title and as I had no glitter, I used glittery thickers.
Lastly, there was Kerryn's sketch challenge. Love how this one turned out.
Thanks for stopping by. Will be back soon with some more scrapping.
We went to Australia Zoo yesterday and got there just in time to see the crocodiles being fed. Terri, Bindi and Robert were doing the show yesterday. The girls were keen to check out the baby rhino and the new African section of the zoo. Grace just wanted to see cheetahs and although they are not on display yet we managed to sneak a peek on our walk down to see the giraffes.
One of the big crocs during the show.
We just managed to see the elephants eat the last of their fruit.
The new African section looks great. It feels like you so close to the animals.
Grace and Kate were keen to try out the rock climbing wall that is part of Bindi's Boot Camp.
Love this photo of the girls walking down to the African section. They were chatting and laughing which is so nice to see.
We had a fabulous time and even managed to see a baby koala with its Mum. We also got to see inside the hospital which was very interesting.

Google decided to disable my old account as apparently I am under the age
of 13! Thanks to Giovanna,
I have made the move here.
Don't forget that you have a week to get
your layouts in for my last DT challenge over at Scrapbooking From Scratch.
Here is the sketch.
